The Innotek IUC 4100 Pet Fencing is very easy to install.
Here are the basic steps so that you can see how quickly your fencing system can be put in place.
- Design your fence by sketching on paper your house, yard and property lines. Your local utility company should be able to give you your underground line marking and this is typically a free service.
- Install the pet fencing system transmitter to the wall. This should be an exterior wall of a garage or basement that is located near an AC power adapter.
- Lay out the fencing wire around the perimeter of where you want the containment boundaries to be within your yard.
- Make your final connections with the wire and attach them to the transmitter. (This instruction and all others are outlined with more detail within the instructions included with your purchase.)
- Charge the Innotek IUC 4100 training collar – the charging light will change from red to green when the collar if ready to go.
- Test your fence at this point. (see further instructions)
- Assuming the fence tests fine so far, prepare to bury the fencing wire along the fencing boundaries that you’ve laid out. You will be placing the training flags at the edge of the edge of the boundary where the warning tone will be first heard. (as opposed to directly at the wire)
- The final step is to watch the training DVD and train your dog which should be pretty simple if you follow the steps outlined in the DVD and instructional manual.
